Wills

This is the step-by-step procedure for making your will:

1. You contact us by phone or email.

2. We send you our free information pack.

3. You request a 'no obligation' appointment.

4. Our adviser visits you to explain all the options appropriate to your needs and then, if you decide to proceed, takes your instructions.

5. Within 14 days, you receive a draft for your approval, together with an explanatory covering letter.

6. Once you have given your approval of this draft, our adviser returns with the final document, which must then be signed and witnessed (alternatively, it can be sent to you in the post, with clear instructions.)

7. You now have a valid will. You can either keep the will yourself or we can keep it for you in secure storage, in which case you'll have an unsigned copy (for reference purposes) together with a Certificate of Storage.

8. We shall contact you every three years to ask if your circumstances have changed in any way that might require amendments to the will.

If you prefer, we can take instructions by phone or email.
